Justin Mackin has experience as a prosecutor, public defender, and private defense attorney in the Cleveland and Columbus areas. Justin has handled every level of the criminal justice system: traffic offenses, juvenile matters, misdemeanors, felonies of every degree, and appeals. In addition to Justin’s extensive trial experience, he has landmark achievements. Justin litigated in the first criminal trial in Ohio after the COVID-19 shutdown. In his first year as an attorney, Justin argued before the Ohio Supreme Court in State v. Carlisle, 2019-1700.

Justin is OVI certified in both the approved course in Ohio for Standardized Field Tests and Advanced Roadside Driving Enforcement (ARIDE). He also taught Columbus Police Officers and Ohio State Patrol trial tactics for traffic and OVI offenses.
